Audit Senior Job Vacancy

We are delighted to be representing an independent, regional accountancy firm in their search for an Audit Senior in Liverpool to join their team and support the Audit Managers with the provision of audit and some general accounting matters for a portfolio of exciting clients.

This opportunity will suit someone who is part ACA, ACCA, or CA qualified or a finalist, with audit experience within an accountancy practice. You will be able to effectively communicate technical matters in an easy-to-understand way for clients and an elevated level of attention to detail will also be essential for this role. You’ll be pleased to hear that this firm will support you to achieve the remainder of your qualifications.

Perhaps you’re a Semi Senior with a good, broad knowledge of audit, or you could be working already as a Senior looking for an exciting new challenge. You’ll be ready to support the managers in creating a positive working environment, whilst ensuring the highest quality service is delivered. You’ll be able to accept autonomous responsibility to oversee projects to completion.

Job Purpose

  • Manage a large portfolio audit from planning to completion.
  • Provide a high level of client customer service.
  • Manage the audit process both on client’s sites and from your desk.
  • Support the Audit Managers to coach trainees?and support with their learning and development.
  • Monitor client deadlines and ensure these are met.
  • Monitor workflow of the team.
  • Able to work alongside and part of the senior management team and support with company growth.
  • Ability to identify services that will add value to your portfolio of clients.
  • Confident in networking to promote the department.
  • Playing an integral part in the efficiency of the audit team and championing the firm’s values within the team.
  • Provide professional and personable client-facing communication skills.
