Start Date: 23rd September - temporary

Tradewind are working in partnership with a mainstream secondary school in Liverpool who are looking for a temporary Finance Officer to start as soon as possible. You will be working within the school administration team with responsibility for all finance related administration between the hours of 8am - 4pm, Monday - Friday, for 35 hours per week during term time only. Main duties for this role include:- inputting date on SIMS, FMS and Oracle- liaising with the LA bursar- to monitor and prepare monthly financial records- checking expenditures across all budget headings- raising and processing orders and invoices- bank reconciliation and administering petty cash accountsExperience of working a school environment with the SIMS FMS and ORACLE system is ESSENTIAL.To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Have previous SIMS, FMS and ORACLE experience
  • Be able to provide 2 professional references, with 1 being from your most recent employee
  • Hold an enhanced Child DBS which is registered on the update service or willing to pay for one
  • Be available from the 23rd September
  • Have school based experience
