Financial Accountant

Accountable Recruitment are supporting a Not for Profit organisation based in Merseyside as they recruit for a Group Financial Accountant. This is a brand new role opening within the Finance Team

Flexibility

1 day in office per week, rest WFH

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of charity financial reporting

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts
• Preparation of the Group's Statutory Accounts
• Responsible for the timely submission of key financial information to HMRC & ONS
• Fixed Assets, Tax & VAT Accounting
• Consolidation process of group and subsidiary accounts
• Liaise with external auditors and implement controls

Experience Required

• PQ / Qualified - Preferably ACA/ACCA
• UKGaap experience is essential
• Experience preparing accounts for Not for Profit beneficial but non-essential
• Experience in a similar role
