Key responsibilities include producing statutory accounts, performing VAT returns, and assisting with year-end audits.

Accountable Recruitment are looking for a Financial Accountant for a business based in Liverpool. The ideal candidate will be Part-Qualified (getting close to becoming fully Qualified) and have experience in a similar position previously.

Job Duties:

- Responsible for the production of statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP- Perform quarterly VAT returns- Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations- Assist with year-end audit requirements- Perform cashflow reporting and forecasting- Perform HMRC payments and reconciliations- Provide key statistical data for reporting

Ideal experience:

- Part-Qualified (getting towards the end)- Prior experience producing company statutory accounts- Confident communicator with ability to effectively interact with employees and stakeholders- Problem solving skills
