Financial Controller
Liverpool - Hybrid Working
£70,000 - £80,000 + 10% bonus

We are currently looking for a qualified Financial Controller to join a high-growth business based in Liverpool City Centre.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a crucial role in integrating new businesses into the broader group, driving financial performance, and supporting strategic growth initiatives.

This business is ideally looking for an FC who has proven experience of working for commercial organisation.

Key responsibilities include of this Financial Controller position include :

  • Preparing and presenting financial reports
  • Leading budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Overseeing the preparation of management accounts
  • Managing a team of 2 direct reports
  • Ensuring compliance with audit and internal control processes
  • Acting as a finance business partner to divisional leaders
  • Supporting the financial integration of the recruitment business into the wider group
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Conducting ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • A qualified accountant with 3-5 years of post-qualified experience
  • Experience in a finance management role
  • Strong technical accounting skills
  • Leadership experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management systems are also required.
