We are searching for a diligent Financial Controller to join a manufacturing business in Merseyside. The role requires a proficient individual to oversee financial activities, ensuring financial compliance across our European entities.

Description
- Lead the development and implementation of effective financial policies and procedures
- Oversee financial activities across European entities
- Ensure financial compliance in accordance with EU regulations
- Prepare and present financial reports and statements
- Coordinate with finance teams to streamline financial operations
- Participate in financial audits and implement corrective actions
- Manage financial databases and maintain accurate financial records
- Support the finance team in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
Profile
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- A relevant qualification (ACA, ACCA ideally)
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in financial software and databases
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
SAP experience would be ideal, as would US GAAP exposure.
Job Offer
- Salary in the region of £70,000 to £90,000 level dependent on experience
- Hybrid work model - 3 days in Merseyside combined with working from home
