I am delighted to be partnered with this well-established, highly regarded Liverpool based logistics firm in their search for a Graduate Assistant Management Accountant.

This is an absolutely fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate of Accounting and Finance (or similar) A great role for somebody wanting to go on to become fully-qualified and really grow with and add-value to an organisation.

Key duties of this role:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts journals and analyses, working directly with divisional and other colleagues.
  • Undertake financial analysis to support/drive the commercial objectives of the business.
  • Support divisional departmental managers in managing their financial budgets and quarterly reforecasts.
  • Support operational teams in producing financial reports and associated financial analyses, exceptions reporting, reporting trends and performance indicators.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects designed to support commercial and other initiatives, and to aid in the development of your skills and experience.
  • Provide assistance with continuous improvement projects.

Full training will of course be provided.

What you'll bring:

  • Qualified to degree level in a relevant discipline, AAT or Certificate Level CIMA, or equivalent qualification with a desire to attain full CIMA qualification
  • Relevant management accounting experience would be advantageous but not essential (if joining from higher education)
  • skills.
  • Well organised and able to manage time effectively to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to develop constructive working relationships at all levels of the business.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation.
