Management Accountant

My client, a financial services company based in Liverpool City Centre, are in need of temporary support within their Finance team. This contract role will likely last up to 9 months. It will be a fast-paced, varied contract and needs somebody adaptable and hard-working

This Management Accountant role will see you providing direct support to the senior management team. You will be an enthusiastic, adaptable individual.

This will be a hybrid role.

What you'll do:

  • Production of monthly management accounts - working to strict deadlines
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Cashflow forecasting preparation and management
  • VAT reconciliations
  • General ledger management
  • Preparing weekly KPI reports for management
  • Assisting the payroll team when required
  • Assisting with audit procedures
  • Staff management

What you bring:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • An advanced level of Excel skills, plus comfortable picking up other systems
  • Ideally part CIMA/ACCA qualified
  • Excellent accuracy skills
  • A positive, hard-working nature
  • Available for an immediate start
