Are you an experience Management Accountant, who has a flare for excel and financial modelling?
We're seeking an experienced professional to take on a full-time permanent role within an established business, who is enjoying a period of rapid growth.
This is an incredible opportunity to make a significant impact within a forward-thinking organisation.
The business is open to looking at QBE or Qualified Accountants.
The Role:As Management Accountant, you will play a vital role in the financial operations of the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and posting monthly journals, owning the trial balance, and reconciling control accounts.
- Producing monthly management accounts for sign-off.
- Preparing and reviewing VAT returns to ensure compliance.
- Analysing income and expenditure, challenging costs, and supporting budget adherence.
- Providing forecasting insights to support business planning.
- Ensuring accurate balance sheet reconciliation.
- Assisting in the preparation for financial audits.
About You:The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of technical expertise and practical experience:
- Qualifications: qualified or qualified by experience, with at least 3 years in a busy finance department.
- Excel: Must be advanced level with financial & scenario modelling skills
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of management accounting practices.
- Problem-Solving Skills: A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to support and resolve queries across the business.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with internal stakeholders.
