Management Accountant | Interim - part-time| up to £180 per day (Umbrella)| Merseyside

Client:Castlefield Recruitment are working with a Not-For-Profit organisation in Merseyside in order to appoint a Management Accountant to their team to support through a period of change for an initial 3 month contract. The role will offer hybrid/remote working as well as flexible part time hours (3 - 4 days a week).

Duties will include:

  • Responsible for managing multiple cashbooks and accounts as well as preparing and submitting VAT returns
  • Maintaining supplier accounts and relationships
  • Assisting with year-end financial reports working closely with the Finance Director
  • Ad-hoc support with the payroll and banking function
  • Working closely with the senior leadership team including the COO and deputising as needed

The successful candidate:

  • Experience working within public sector is highly desirable (Charity, Local Government, NHS, Education, Not-for-profit)
  • An ability to learn and pick up new processes quickly is essential
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills is essential
