We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join the team focused on working across a Property portfolio in the main delivering year end accounts and tax elements.

Description

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and financial reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making and business performance.
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance against key metrics.
  • Assist with cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support the financial year-end close and liaise with external accountants.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Processing invoices and collection of debtor payments and processing creditor payments
  • Assist in the implementation of financial controls and process improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with various departments and management to provide financial guidance and reporting.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Experience in a similar role within a commercial environment is advantageous.
  • Strong skills and experience working with Xero.
