Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with an established SME family run business based in Liverpool City Centre as they look to recruit a Management Accountant to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join a stable business.

Salary/Benefits:

  • Up to £40k (depending on experience)

Job Duties:

  • Prepare and post accruals, prepayments, and ad-hoc journals
  • Maintain the fixed asset register
  • Assist in the preparation of management accounts
  • Perform bank reconciliations and VAT returns
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and detailed financial analysis
  • Support monthly invoicing routines and preparation for the annual external audit
  • Assist in treasury management and cashflow planning
  • Validate incoming invoices and input into sales/purchase ledger as required
  • Provide ad-hoc support to finance and operational teams

Who will I report in to?Finance Director

Working hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30

Ideal experience:

  • QBE or later stages CIMA/ACCA studier
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
  • Knowledge of SQL and Dataflow accounts package (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
