Forge Talent are delighted to be partnered with a global business in Merseyside who are seeking a Project Accountant to join the team as they continue to grow.

This role suits a candidate who has a strong finance background but is looking to move into more systems based role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Regularly maintain finance-related systems to ensure smooth and accurate functioning.
  • Identify and implement system improvements to support finance operations and optimise workflows.
  • Support financial audits by maintaining accurate system records and providing required data to auditors.
  • Work closely with senior finance professionals in the UK and internationally to understand financial requirements.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to integrate finance systems with the broader organisational IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure all finance systems meet regulatory requirements and company compliance standards.

Requirements:

  • Project experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Essential computing proficiency, including advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise, plan, and manage workload to meet deadlines
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Proactive, positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and skill sets
  • Strong communication skills

Salary & Benefits:
