Portfolio Payroll is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant for a global client in Liverpool on a temporary basis for 12 months.
The role is hybrid and offers a day rate of up to £275 per day (Inside IR35).
Candidates should have a degree or qualification in accountancy/finance and at least 5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
Key responsibilities include preparing journals, performing reconciliations, and analyzing variances among other tasks.
The position may become permanent for the right candidate after the initial 12-month period.

Portfolio Payroll are supporting a global client in Liverpool, seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join their team on a temporary basis for 12 months.

This role is hybrid and offers a day rate of up to £275 per day (Inside IR35).

Key duties of the role include;

Working with different areas of the business including 3rd party entities and Financial BP's
Preparation of journals, post accruals and reclassifications
Performing reconciliations, and identifying and rectifying issues within the system
Process allocations incl. Superannuation & benefit queries, journal entries, balance accounts etc.
Involvement with entity budgets and forecasts
Analysis and report on variances

Person Specification;

Degree / Qualification within the accountancy/finance field
5+ years experience within accounting and finance
Be able to hit the ground running with minimal to no input
Collaborative and pro active approach
Be available on a short notice / Immediately available

The role will become permanent for the right individual, following the temporary period of up to 12 months.
