Senior Manager - IFRS17 - Big 4 Accountancy Exp

Our Insurance client is seeking a specialist in IFRS17 who is at Senior Manager level 

Support the Head of IFRS 17 in coordinating the IFRS 17 production process and delivering the Group’s IFRS 17 result, across Finance, Actuarial, and Data and Technology. • Be a key IFRS 17 SME for both internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Fairfax, PwC). IFRS 17 Technical • Maintain and update the suite of IFRS 17 accounting policy papers. • Provide IFRS17 accounting advice within the group, including assessment the treatment of new insurance and reinsurance contracts.

•    Qualified Accountant with significant post-qualification experience; preferably ACA or equivalent with “Big 4” background.
•    Experience within the commercial insurance sector, specifically knowledge of the London Market (Lloyd’s Market experience desirable) 
•    Track record of delivering a high-quality product to tight deadlines. 
•    Well-developed technical understanding of the IFRS17 standard and the practical experience of the application of it to Financial Reporting
