Forge Talent is partnering with a well-known business in Liverpool that has a turnover of over £50M.
They are seeking an Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant to handle various finance tasks, including purchase ledger and accounts receivable.
The role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable, with a preference for candidates with strong finance experience across both AP and AR.
The competitive salary for this position ranges from £30K to £34K, depending on experience.

Forge Talent is proud to be partnering with a well know business based in the heart of Liverpool, who are a £50M+ turnover business. They have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant to join their team.

Reporting to the Management Accountant and Financial Controller you will work across all Day to Day & Month End Finance Tasks including:

End to End Purchase Ledger: Deal with all Supplier Payments and Queries, Invoice Processing including Cross Checking & Approve Purchase Orders Processing
Staff Expenses - Processing & Payment off Staff Expenses
Accounts Receivable: Credit Control, heavy involved in Query Management and Resolution
Cash Allocation and Bank Postings
Producing Bank Reconciliations
Ad Hoc Tasks set from Finance Director

Profile:

Accounting and Finance Degree or AAT Qualification would be advantageous
Strong Finance Experience - Ideally across AP & AR but minimum 3 years experience of AP
Strong Analytical Skills - including Excel
Self Motivated and Good Communication
