Description
- Supporting the financial department by preparing invoices, updating records, and performing routine accounting activities.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly and yearly financial reports.
- Working closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Participating in financial audits and cooperating with external auditors.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Providing support in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Maintaining confidentiality of all financial data.
- Engaging in continual knowledge development regarding sector rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards.
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and legislation.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
