Salary/Benefits:

Job Duties:You will work closely with the finance team and contribute to a range of activities, including:

  • Assisting with maintaining the Purchase Ledger using Sage, including invoice processing, account reconciliations, and payment runs.
  • Supporting the preparation of VAT returns and bank reconciliations.
  • Helping with data analysis, including reviewing project profitability and assisting in preparing reports.
  • Maintaining accurate project records and assisting with forecasting.
  • Contributing to the preparation of annual budgets and year-end accounts.
  • Supporting the maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register and petty cash reconciliations.
  • Collaborating with the team on ad hoc financial projects and process improvements.

Who will I report to?You will report to the Financial Controller

Ideal Experience:

  • A recent graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel and a willingness to learn finance systems like Sage.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
