Reed Business Support is thrilled to partner with our client to help them find a Temporary Admin Assistant to provide effective and efficient support to their advisors and service managers. This role is crucial in maintaining service effectiveness through meticulous information management.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Monitor case progression and provide administrative support to Advisors and Service Managers.
  • Receive referrals, create, update, and close cases within ECMS, and ensure all documentation is saved and up to date.
  • Send letters and information packs to service users, follow up on missing information, and perform telephone and reception duties.
  • Understand and support the organisation’s commitment to safeguarding children.
  • Ensure timely electronic receipt of new applications, set up electronic case files, and allocate work to the local team.
  • Produce and send letters or other information to service users using available templates.
  • Share information with stakeholders such as Local Authorities, solicitors, and courts.
  • Maintain internal records, databases, and filing systems in compliance with data protection legislation.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support, including scheduling meetings and managing resources.
  • Maintain stock levels of office supplies and IT equipment and assist in financial record maintenance.

What We’re Looking For:

  • High level of attention to detail and ability to input data accurately.
  • Highly organised with the ability to work methodically.
  • Competent use of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent word processing skills and good comprehension of the English language.
  • Good numerical ability and knowledge of general office practice and procedures.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work to agreed timescales.
  • Adaptability to a changing environment and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Professional interpersonal skills and understanding of confidentiality issues.
