About the role:

Are you a highly organised, detail-oriented and passionate about supporting others? We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join a financial advisory firm and provide vital support to an experienced advisor. Key responsibilities will include reviewing and preparing correspondence, submitting cases to ACP, printing and posting letters.

This is a part-time position with potential to become full-time for the right candidate. You’ll also have the chance to train and develop alongside an experienced professional in financial industry, making it an excellent opportunity for someone eager to grow their career in this field.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Financial Advisor with their workloads
  • Prepare new client packs, request customer documents to support applications and cases and client meetings
  • Follow up with clients, assisting them in preparing a complete set of documents
  • Conduct review checks on each case before submission and liaise with clients for any missing or additional information
  • Perform general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and posting documentation
  • Provide regular updates to clients, ensuring all important information is communicated clearly
  • Input data into CRM and Excel spreadsheets
  • Participate in regular training, team meetings, and celebrate successes while addressing areas for improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • IT literate; proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and multitask effectively
  • Attention to detail and confidence in using the telephone
  • Problem-solving abilities with a proactive attitude
  • Adaptability to changes in systems and processes
  • A genuine desire to help others.
