Hours: 37.5 per week Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm / 9.00am - 5.00pm

Role type: Temporary for 2 months with possibility of extension

What you'll be responsible for:

  • The post holder will be responsible for the day to day administrative support to the complex care support team within the community division and will undertake a range of administrative and clerical duties
  • Duties will include close liaison with patients/ families/ carriers in relation to the complex care support team pathway, ensuring all clinical correspondence is dealt with in a timely manner, as well as scanning, uploading information onto Hospital recording system - Meditech, as well as email inbox and telephone
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to multi-disciplinary team meetings and ensuring effective clinical information sharing regarding the inpatient stay
  • Medical Minute Taking and documentation on EPR system

This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

  1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
  2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
  3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:

  • Previous experience in a clerical healthcare environment and medical terminology - mandatory
  • Ability to demonstrate computer literacy and keyboard skills in order to input and retrieve data and produce standard documents
  • Competent user of Microsoft office
  • RSA Level II or equivalent qualification - highly desirable
  • Typing speed of 60 words per minute
  • Desirable knowledge of Meditech/Expanse
