Job Overview:We are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Acute Medicine team at Aintree Hospital. You will play a pivotal role in providing physiotherapy assessments, equipment provision, and discharge planning for patients in an acute setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct physiotherapy assessments for patients in the acute medicine setting
  • Provide necessary equipment and assist with discharge planning
  • Attend board rounds to collaborate with the multidisciplinary team in patient care
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with complex needs
  • Ensure effective communication with patients, families, and colleagues

Requirements:

  • HCPC registered Physiotherapist
  • Experience working in an acute medicine setting
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage a complex caseload and provide tailored patient care
  • Previous experience with discharge planning and equipment provision
