Red Sky have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Air Traffic Engineer. The SATE is accountable to the ATE Technical Services Manager for the operation of the ATE Department ensuring it provides the highest levels of equipment availability and meets all statutory and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

 

      Operation of a CAA approved maintenance organisation.

Proactively encourage open and honest reporting as part of the organisation's just culture.

Represent the ATE department by participating in various meetings, focus groups and liaise with third parties on ATE related topics.

Implementing and maintaining Safety, Quality and Security Management Systems and Change Management Procedures within ATE.

Maintaining flight calibration schedules of all applicable systems.

Provide onsite CNS specialist advice to ATC/ATE Colleagues.

Liaising with the CAA and SARG with reference to colleagues and equipment changes or modifications.

Test equipment calibration operations (Quality Policy).

Control of archival material including impounded recordings.

Obtaining and maintaining all licences/Approvals/AIP documentation.

Carrying out Impact Assessments, unless delegated to the ATE Document Control Coordinator.

Assisting with the implementation of ATE projects including equipment procurement and replacement.

Overseeing and assisting the TSA with the departmental training requirements.

Maintain the ATE operational budget. 2 May 2024

Any other ad-hoc duties which may occur from time to time and are considered to be within the post holders' capability, to ensure business continuity.

About you

 

      Minimum Level HND/HNC or equivalent in a related engineering subject

ATSEP or Legacy PTC qualifications

Incident investigation qualification

Auditing qualification

Health and Safety qualification

OJTi qualification

Extensive experience of Air Traffic Engineering operations and maintenance

Experience in staff management

Detailed knowledge of the regulatory requirements applicable to the ATS environment

      Salary - up to £70,000 DOE

Working Pattern - 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday (9:00am - 5:15pm)
