CK Group are recruiting for a Analytical Development Scientist, to join a company in the animal health and pharmaceutical industry, at their site based in Speke, on a contract basis for 12 months.


Salary:

PAYE 18.15 - 24.21 per hour


Analytical Development Scientist Role:
  • Lead and provide technical expertise for analytical agendas in process development projects, using HPLC, ELISA, UV, and CE-SDS techniques.
  • Plan, execute, and assess lab studies, making data-driven decisions to guide project delivery.
  • Communicate project progress to senior staff and stakeholders globally, delivering peer-reviewed technical reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and cost control standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities through innovation and shared technical knowledge across the global network.

Your Background:
  • Degree or higher degree within chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology/biologics or related discipline.
  • At least 2 years hands on knowledge and expertise in analytical method development or other relevant experience, such as a PhD, is preferable.
  • Expertise in development of new analytical methods and optimisation specifically HPLC, UV, ELISA & CE-SDS.
  • Ability to operate according to Good Research Practices and produce technical documentation to high standards.
  • Good understanding of potential CQAs, process and product related impurities and stability needs.
