Quality Manager / QHSE Manager / Quality Health and Saftey Manager required to join a leading, growing manufacturer of Defence & Automotive high-performance technology that are based in Liverpool.
The Ideal Quality Manager / QHSE Manager / Quality Health and Saftey Manager will be based near Liverpool and lead Quality Assurance responsibilities within the Aerospace industry.
We’re looking for proven experience as a Quality Manager / QHSE Manager / Quality Health and Saftey Manager to join an exciting, growing manufacturer.
This position has scope for someone to take the next steps in their career ad an long term path to higher management.

Quality Manager / QHSE Manager / Quality Health and Saftey Manager Role
- Ensure the company products are fit for purpose, consistent and meet both internal and external requirements
- Maintain and develop ISO 9001 Quality Management System
- To ensure highest standards of health and safety are maintained, using ISO 45001
- Ensure the company’s environmental policies and procedures are adhered to using ISO 14001
- Ensure product quality is consistently of a high standard
- Working with Aerospace, Space, Defence Industry products.
- Support the Board and Senior Management by reporting Environmental, Quality and health and Safety matters to them.
- Using root cause analysis of quality issues
- Ensure the internal audit schedule.
- Use lean tools to contribute to operational improvement
- Solve day to day quality and inspection issues, reporting accurate cost of quality calculations to the business
- Ensure inter-departmental relationships are maintained to a level which strengthen the delivery of operational objectives
Quality Manager / QHSE Manager / Quality Health and Saftey Manager Requirements
- Engineering qualification or apprentice trained.
- Experience as Senior Quality Engineer / Quality Manager / Quality Assurance Manager / Lead Quality Engineer
- Experience managing ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO14001 QMS
- Experience in the Aerospace, Space, Defence or Pharmaceutical Industry would be beneficial.
- Full UK driving license
- Commutable to Liverpool
