Quality Engineer - Automotive
Location: Halewood Area
Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 + Training, Pension, and Holidays
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

Due to significant ongoing investments and exciting upcoming projects, this manufacturer in the Halewood area is looking to hire a Quality Engineer. The company offers excellent working conditions, a family-oriented environment, and a strong focus on training and development.

Role Overview:


Quality Management: Develop and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 standards.
Product Introduction Support: Assist with New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and support production trials.
Compliance and Non-Conformance Management: Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure compliance and resolve any non-conformance issues.
Documentation: Create and maintain quality and process documentation, including PFMEA, Control Plans, and work instructions.
Process Improvement: Oversee engineering process changes, ensuring alignment with quality standards.
Team Leadership: Lead a team of shift-based Quality Control (QC) personnel.

Required Skills and Experience:


Experience with FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, and SPC.
Experience in the automotive industry or a related sector is highly advantageous.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and apply engineering principles.
Engineering qualification and relevant experience within quality engineering, preferably in the automotive sector.
