Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to start your career in controls design with a leading company in materials handling? Our Client is seeking a Graduate Automation Design Engineer to join their growing team to help design control systems for cutting-edge industrial machinery.
As a Graduate Automation Design Engineer, you will work with state-of-the-art technology and collaborate with experienced teams to deliver innovative solutions for their worldwide clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design electrical schematics and layouts using EPLAN Electric P8.
- Work with Siemens and Rockwell PLCs (S7, TIA Portal, ControlLogix).
- Select components like relays, power supplies, and circuit breakers.
- Ensure designs comply with international standards (IEC, UL, NFPA).
- Collaborate with senior engineers and production teams.
Requirements:
- BTEC & HNC in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent)
- Experience in EPLAN-based control panel design for industrial automation (desirable)
- Knowledge of Siemens and Rockwell PLC systems (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
