Client Billing Manager - Liverpool
Prestigious Finance Client based in Liverpool is looking for an accomplished Billing Manager to join their EMEA team. You will participate in the preparation of billing of clients. Understand all billing processes and transaction procedures and be able to undertake all tasks wherever necessary. Suggest efficiencies and improvements to the billing process and be able to advise on best practice. This role is a 16mth FTC, located in Liverpool and is hybrid working
- Recruit, direct, motivate and develop staff, maximizing their individual contribution, professional development and ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team
- Manage the daily process workflow within the team and align team resources accordingly to complete the required tasks.
- Enforce an effective control environment around the entire billing related processes.
- Serve as the escalation point for critical issues and manage through to resolution.
- Ensure the volume of work produced meets product/service standards and exceeds quality standards and is properly reviewed and documented.
- Own the 'charging database’ and play a key role in utilizing it to identify revenue leakage opportunities, and to prevent leakage in the future.
- Oversee invoice calculation and generation to ensure correct and timely preparation.
Essential:
- Proven experience of Billing/Transaction management in the Financial Services arena
- Experience in Finance Operations processes
- ACCA Qualified or equivalent, helpful but not essential
- Strong controls and process experience
- Ability to demonstrate strong stakeholder management
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Experience in managing an offshore team is preferrable
- Invoicing of clients. Process commission payments. Client billing
- Management of the fee function.
- Onshore/oversight checks
- Experience in complex manual processes
- Used to collating data from all over a business and from multiple systems
- Analysis, looking into variances
