Adaptable Recruitment is working with a well-established business in Knowsley to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk on a permanent basis. Role Overview:

This role will focus on end-to-end Accounts Payable duties, including CIS payments. The successful candidate will ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time while maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing high-volume invoices with accuracy and efficiency
  • Managing supplier accounts, ensuring timely reconciliations and payments
  • Handling CIS compliance, ensuring payments and deductions are correctly processed
  • Investigating and resolving any discrepancies or payment issues
  • Assisting with month-end reporting and financial processes
  • Supporting process improvements to enhance efficiency within the AP function
Skills & Experience Required:
  • CIS and Accounts Payable experience is essential
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage workloads effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in finance software and Excel
  • A proactive mindset with a problem-solving approach
