Main Responsibilities to include:
- Review e-mail daily and answer within 24 hours.
- Verify that all information on shipping instructions matches information in booking
- Resolve discrepancies that arise from differences in the booking and on the shipping instructions with customer service to ensure that an accurate bill of lading is processed
- Work with customers to obtain information regarding shipping instructions and ensure all information needed to process documents is available.
- Input all relevant bill of lading information into system timely and accurately.
- All other documentation related functions as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Educated to GCSE or equivalent
- Advanced knowledge of Shipping Documentation procedures
- Excellent Communication skills - verbal and written
- Analytical/logical
- Methodical/thorough
- Work as part of a team or independently
- Time Management/Working under pressure
- Computer literacy
