Main Responsibilities to include:

  • Review e-mail daily and answer within 24 hours.
  • Verify that all information on shipping instructions matches information in booking
  • Resolve discrepancies that arise from differences in the booking and on the shipping instructions with customer service to ensure that an accurate bill of lading is processed
  • Work with customers to obtain information regarding shipping instructions and ensure all information needed to process documents is available.
  • Input all relevant bill of lading information into system timely and accurately.
  • All other documentation related functions as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Educated to GCSE or equivalent
  • Advanced knowledge of Shipping Documentation procedures
  • Excellent Communication skills - verbal and written
  • Analytical/logical
  • Methodical/thorough
  • Work as part of a team or independently
  • Time Management/Working under pressure
  • Computer literacy
