Reed recruitment have recently partnered with a fantastic law firm who are looking to add another legal cashier to their team based on growth of the business.
The right candidate will demonstrate previous experience in a similar role and will be in a position to work to a hybrid working pattern of 1 day in the office and 4 days from home.
Responsibilities
- Processing all accounting transactions in accordance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules, Anti-Money Laundering Regs and firms Financial Procedures Policy
- Monitoring receipt of all funds to client and office accounts
- Daily bank reconciliations for client and office accounts
- Completing Month and Year end processes
- Preparing VAT reports
- Checking that all payment and receipt requests are properly authorised and verified in accordance with financial procedures
- Setting up banking payments for authorisation
- Responding to legal cashiering accounts queries
- Review and processing the accounts payable ledger
- Supporting queries relating to the annual audit requirements pursuant to SARs
Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience legal cashiering
- ILFM qualification (desired not essential)
- Experience of Quill Pinpoint case management system (preferred not essential)
- Strong numerical skills and analytical skills
- Confident user of MS Office packages
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Well organised with strong time management skills
- Efficient, reliable and focussed
- Professional communication skills both written and verbal
