Purchase Ledger Assistant Permanent Full Time North Liverpool - £27,269k

Seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a small and friendly finance team. You will be responsible for providing support to the Business Manager and Finance team in all financial, business and administrative functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Creating purchase orders
  • Placing orders with suppliers
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders
  • Dealing with all invoice queries
  • Sending invoices off for approval
  • Reconciling supplier statements on receipt
  • Posting credit card receipts
  • Reconciling credit card statements
  • Preparing payment runs

Person Specification:

  • Previous purchase ledger/finance experience
  • Excellent attention to detail/high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • The ability to work to deadlines
  • A team player, who can also manage their own workloads
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent IT Skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel.
