Candidates must possess a BSc in chemistry, microbiology, engineering, or a related field, with experience in medical devices and ISO 13485 being advantageous.
The position offers a permanent salary between £26,000 and £27,000, along with company benefits.
Immediate start is available, and training will be provided for specialized equipment.

This Brigg Scientific client is a medical device diagnostic company who are looking for a Development Scientist to work out of their site on The Wirral, Merseyside.

Duties and personal qualities will include the following:

Collaborating on scientific studies in support of product development / improvement
Maintaining detailed ongoing project records
Adherence to quality and operational protocols
Knowledge of biochemistry instrumentation and techniques
Good PCR knowledge is essential for this role.
Data analysis / statistics
Problem solving skills

This is a permanent role commanding a salary in the range £26-27k + company benefits. Applications are welcomed from BSc qualified graduates in chemistry, microbiology, engineering or closely related subjects. Experience from a previous medical device role and ISO 13485 exposure would be a distinct advantage.
