Bookkeeper / £30,000 - £35,000 / Wavertree / Temporary on-going (could go permanent)Adaptable Recruitment are working with a growing business in the Wavertree area who are looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team on a temporary basis with the possibility of a permanent contractPackage:

  • Salary £30,000 - £35,000
  • 37.5 hours Monday - Friday
  • Flexible start and finish times
  • 3pm finish on Fridays
  • Hybrid working pattern - 2 days from home

Location: WavertreeJob Duties:

  • Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including processing invoices, payments, and expense claims.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of the accounts receivable and payable ledgers, ensuring all transactions are recorded and reconciled promptly.
  • Handle customer account management, including payment allocation, sending statements, and following up on overdue debts.
  • Reconcile supplier accounts, address discrepancies, and resolve queries efficiently.
  • Process supplier invoices and post them to the accounting system, ensuring accurate data entry.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and resolve any inconsistencies.
  • Support month-end processes, including preparing accounts up to trial balance stage.
  • Assist with general financial reporting and ensure all financial records are up to date and audit-ready.

  • Prior experience in a similar transactional accounting role is essential, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked up to the trial balance stage
