Description

Our client are looking for a Business Development Consultant, to be responsible for effectively engaging with potential clients, providing them with valuable information about courses, and guiding them through the enrolment process. Additionally, you will actively participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members, contributing to the growth and success of training programmes.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Management: Handle incoming calls, emails, and enquiries from potential students interested in training courses and carry out regular BD to garner new corporate partnerships.
  • Course Knowledge: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the course offerings, curriculum, benefits, and industry relevance.
  • Consultative Selling: Engage with potential students to understand their goals, needs, and career aspirations. Provide personalised advice and recommendations on the most suitable training programme.
  • Build Corporate Relationships: The opportunity exists to meet clients at their workplaces and attend trade shows and various events to enhance the visibility of the company and the range of services they offer.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build strong, long-lasting relationships with potential students, fostering trust and confidence in the training services.
  • Sales Process: Guide potential students through the enrolment process, answer questions, address objections, and negotiate terms to successfully close sales.
  • Onboarding of Students: Assist in the onboarding of new learners, ensuring they receive appropriate documentation, confirmations and next steps.
  • Recruitment Involvement: Collaborate with the management team on the exciting project of establishing a new recruitment division within the company, capitalising on the existing pool of learners and established client base.
  • Targets and Quotas: Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and quotas, contributing to the company's revenue growth.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, leads, and sales activities using the company’s CRM system.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competition, and market demands to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing and training teams to develop and implement effective sales and marketing campaigns.

Personal Specification:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in education, recruitment, or training services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to actively listen, understand customer needs, and provide tailored solutions.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
  • A passion for both hitting personal targets and a commitment to helping individuals achieve their career goals.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and self-driven.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
