Location: Hybrid role with one day at the office in Kirkby, Liverpool
Company Description: Our client is a well-established Nationwide Electrical Distributor looking for an exceptional Business Development Executive to join their team in Liverpool. - The manager has full autonomy over sales, purchasing, staffing and logistics. He is the boss in this business model, so can do whatever is needed to satisfy your customers requirements, giving you a huge advantage over your competition
Role:
- Actively supporting the Branch Manager in the growth of the business by developing strategies for increasing existing business, enticing dormant accounts and sourcing new business in the area
- Identifying new sales leads and promoting products and services
- Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customer base
- Researching organisations and individuals to identify new leads and potential new markets
- Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing
- Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
- Maintaining and growing your customer base by selling the companys wide range of products whilst delivering an unrivalled customer service, developing relationships and encouraging repeat business
Person:
- You must be confident, reliable and punctual, be self-motivated and enthusiastic with a solid work ethic and a can do attitude whilst being a team player who enjoys a busy and productive working environment
- A proven track record of working in sales within the electrical, plumbing or building trades would be essential
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- A motivational and dynamic person with attention to detail and pride in their work
