Cobalt is seeking a standout Building Manager for a Grade A commercial office in Liverpool City Centre. Our client is a bespoke private practice with a longstanding reputation for managing properties the "right way", which has seen them win business off of competitors right the way through the UK.

This role will see you take ownership of a multi-let development, working in partnership with the client to ensure the property remains cutting-edge. We're in essence looking for someone with a passion for properties themselves, as well as for the ever-important customer engagement, able to bring them together for a first class FM service delivery.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure the delivery of facilities management services in line with customer agreements, specifications, and KPIs.

  • Build strong tenant relationships through regular meetings and communication, including monthly newsletters.

  • Conduct regular inspections, oversee maintenance of plant and equipment, and manage remedial works as needed.

  • Monitor health & safety systems, ensure statutory compliance, and maintain logs of fire and safety checks.

  • Manage on-site personnel and contractors to deliver services to a high standard.

  • Prepare service charge budgets, oversee procurement, and authorize supplier invoices.

  • Respond to out-of-hours emergencies, ensuring swift resolution.

  • Attend client meetings and contribute to site improvements.

  • Fulfill any additional responsibilities aligned with the Building Manager role.

As the successful applicant, you will have a strong track record in managing PPM works for building plant and fabric, as well as a strong ability to lead and bring together a wider variety of stakeholders. An IOSH or NEBOSH is essential.
