Building Services Manager - MEP
Salary: 55,000 - 65,000
Location: Liverpool
Our client is seeking an experienced Building Services Manager to join their team and take the lead in managing and coordinating complex Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design and build subcontract packages. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the highest standards in design, construction, and commissioning, driving the success of large-scale, high-value projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee high-value MEP subcontract packages from inception to completion.
- Supervise both off-site and on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Implement cost control measures to ensure financial efficiency while maintaining quality.
- Manage change processes and communicate deviations clearly with clients for approval.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and construction teams for smooth project delivery.
- Provide expert technical knowledge on building systems, including electrical, mechanical, fire safety, security, water treatment, and high-voltage systems.
What You Bring:
- 10+ years of experience in construction, particularly managing MEP subcontracts.
- Proven track record in delivering large-scale projects with values exceeding 10m.
- Expertise in off-site modular construction and Passivhaus MEP design is advantageous.
- A strong focus on client satisfaction and delivering innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
