Our client is seeking a Shared Service Centre Operations Manager to provide leadership and management of multi-discipline teams, ensuring the delivery of an operational area of the Shared Service Centre (SSC). This role requires strategic thinking, shaping effective and efficient end-to-end processes, resource planning across several teams within the operation, and managing a team of Assistant Managers. The successful candidate will be responsible for enabling the delivery of exceptional service, being client-centric and quality-focused, ensuring they deliver to operational excellence standards.

What you'll do:

As a Shared Service Centre Operations Manager you will be instrumental in driving operational and professional standards across your area, ensuring services meet critical success factors. Your ability to think both strategically and operationally will be key in this role as you continually assess resource requirements to meet business demands. You will also have oversight of quality control and compliance, identifying improvements to support high standards of output.

  • Working together with the SSC Executive Leadership Team and SSC Operations Managers to ensure collective delivery against the firm and SSC strategy and vision.
  • Manage several Assistant Managers who lead teams covering a number of key business functions
  • Provide an exceptional client experience and support client initiatives both internally and externally.
  • Work with the Head of Operations, Hub Managers, Stakeholders, Business Relationship Managers and HR Manager to ensure effective and efficient delivery of our processes.
  • Drive operational and professional standards across the area to optimise delivery of services.
  • Continually assess resource requirements to enable the demands of the business.
