Job Description:As a Joiner/Carpenter working through Search, you will have the chance to collaborate with some of the most reputable construction firms in the industry. Your responsibilities will include:
- Interpreting and executing detailed plans and specifications for a variety of construction projects.- Constructing, installing, and repairing wooden structures, fixtures, and furniture.- Measuring, cutting, and shaping materials with precision using hand and power tools.- Installing doors, windows, cabinets, and other interior elements to the highest standards.- Working closely with project managers and site supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks.- Adhering to health and safety regulations on site to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Joiner/Carpenter in a construction environment.- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry and Joinery preferred.- Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations.- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.- Strong communication and teamwork skills.- Valid driving license and own tools are desirable.
