Job Vacancy: Food Technician Cover Teacher
Location: L25 (South Liverpool)Position: Food Technician Cover TeacherStart Date: 22/04/2025Salary: To scale
Tradewind are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Technician to teach at a well-established secondary school and sixth form in L25, South Liverpool. This role is full-time and the successful candidate will be required to start after Easter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality Food Technology lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring full engagement and student progress.
- Managing classroom behaviour and creating an inclusive learning environment.
- Tracking and reporting on student progress and providing feedback to both students and parents.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- A food hygiene certificate.
- Previous experience teaching Food Technology in a secondary school setting.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
- Be able to provide a minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference.
- Have a child workforce enhanced DBS on the update service, or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure.
