Quality Governance Officer

  • Salary: Between £24,000 - £27,000
  • North West based, Hybrid working
  • Permanent - Working for a Healthcare Service Provider

The post holder with provider Clinical Governance and Quality support with Direction from the Director of Governance, working in a small teams.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Supporting Clinical Audit activity, supporting services and the quality governance team to embed service improvements;
  • Administration of clinical guidelines;
  • Proactively work with a wide range of healthcare professionals in the development of clinical audit projects;
  • dertaking specific projects as appropriate;
  • Implementing monitoring systems to ensure timely responses to actions.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Education to degree level or equivalent experience;
  • Previous experience in clinical audit, compliance and delivering to deadlines;
  • Experience of analysing, interpreting and presenting data;
  • Demonstrable recent administrative/ Governance experience in a healthcare environment;
  • Experience of writing reports and presenting data to diverse audiences;
  • Ability to develop and manipulate information in databases and/or spreadsheets;
  • Demonstrate good organisational / time management skills and be able work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Adept in the use of Microsoft Office software;
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
