At Pearson’s Glass, they have a well-established customer base, and we're ready to expand. With over 120 years in business, they manufacture on-site in Liverpool, providing you with direct access to the technical expertise needed to deliver high-quality service to their customers.
Their products are not 'off-the-shelf’ so you will spend some time in the office to begin with, giving you a thorough understanding of their product range and technical capabilities. You’ll be reporting directly to their Processing & Heritage Director who has led their sales for the last 10 years. Ben knows the information, guidance and support you’ll need to get you up and running. You’ll also work closely with their Customer Service manager exchanging feedback and ideas to ensure a great customer experience.
Your role will be a mix of relationship management of our brilliant existing customers and finding those new ones who are a perfect fit with what they have to offer. You’ll be preparing your own quotes and, over time, assigning rates to customers. You’ll have the flexibility to shape the sales process in your own way—as long as you’re delivering results.
Approachable and committed to exceptional customer service, you’ll be the face of their brand—demonstrating the professionalism and integrity their customers have come to expect.
What’s on offer for you:
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Hybrid working after training period, up to 3 days per week from home. Office location is L3 7EH
Bonus: Up to 25% of your salary (target based)

What do we need?
- 3-5 years experience in business development in a B2B environment
- A full, clean drivers licence
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- The ability to grasp technical details and guide your customers
- A little flexibility - you’ll need to support the customer service team at times
The interview process…
