About Us:

We are a bridge lending business that specialises in providing short term finance to small and medium-sized property developers, traders, and investors. All loans are typically secured against completed or refurbished residential properties, as well as certain commercial projects. Formed in January 2020, we have experienced significant growth and now have a combined group loan book approaching £50m.

As we enter an exciting stage of our business, we are now seeking to hire a Client Relationship Manager to join our team.

The Role:

  • Based at our Liverpool Office in the Baltic Triangle, we are seeking an experienced Client Relationship Manager to lead and manage post-loan completion activities within our lending operations. This role is crucial to ensuring smooth operational management of arrears, redemptions, progress checks, and other post-completion tasks.
  • The Client Relationship Manager will play a critical role in supporting the business in achieving its strategic goals and fostering an environment of continuous improvement within the team.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a loan servicing, collections, or related financial services role.
  • In-depth knowledge Strong understanding of loan products, mortgages, business loans, and understanding of post-loan processes such as redemptions, arrears management, and payment schedule as the role will include:
  • Monitoring and addressing arrears.
  • Managing loan redemptions.
  • Conducting progress checks on ongoing loan activities.
  • Ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of post-completion issues.
  • Effective communication skills, adept at liaising with clients and internal teams, building relationships, and managing difficult conversations, particularly regarding arrears or missed payments.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deliver tailored solutions for different client needs along with the ability to find solutions to client problems and be able to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Understanding of operational processes, particularly post-loan completion, such as ensuring correct loan repayments, maintaining accurate records, and processing redemptions.
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements to enhance client satisfaction and internal efficiencies.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to assess and understand financial documents, loan agreements, and repayment schedules.
