At Adaptable Recruitment we have an Exciting opportunity for a Divisional Sales Manager to join a leading wholesaler in the Liverpool area.

Package: up to £45,000 Depending on experience
Holidays: 24 days + birthday & bank holidays
Location: Covering the North - Remote/Field Based

FMCG SALES EXPERIENCE REQUIRED


Main Responsibilities to Include:

Your responsibilities will include planning, organising, and coordinating sales activities to ensure strategies are effectively implemented, driving growth, and nurturing the professional development of our Sales

  • Develop sales forecasts and take ownership of achieving sales goals, including key metrics and budget targets.
  • Lead a team of 10 Territory Account Managers, with responsibilities for hiring, training, performance management, and conducting field visits to offer training and coaching.
  • Support customer acquisition efforts, bid preparation, and customer retention strategies.
  • Regularly meet with sales personnel to review CRM activities, customer relationships, sales performance, and training needs.
  • Engage with assigned accounts to identify customer needs and address potential issues.
  • Collaborate with various teams to develop and implement pricing strategies that align with company objectives.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitive behaviour to anticipate and proactively respond to changing customer needs.

The ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG field sales.
  • Experience in the vape/tobacco/NRT sales category is a plus, but not required.
  • Skilled in developing sales strategies and team processes.
  • Proven leadership and coaching abilities, with a track record of building successful teams.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive profitable sales growth.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.
