The Business

Our client is a business within the Hospitality, Leisure and Entertainment sectors who are experiencing a continued period of growth. The group is comprised of 3 key establishments, which include numerous event spaces, bars and restaurants within them. These venues are well known within the Northwest/Liverpool and there are some exciting plans in place for additional developments.

The Role

The Marketing Manager will take the lead on the Hospitality and Leisure offerings within the group. Working closely with the Directors, this opportunity presents itself for a Marketing Manager to come in and drive continued growth to make the role their own! With a large portion of the groups revenue coming through their various events and food and beverage options, this role will require an all round marketer who can generate and deliver campaigns to build brand awareness and generate incoming leads for the Sales team to action.The Marketing Manager will be hands on and enjoy working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, as well as having an input into the strategic marketing activities of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualise and deliver marketing plans and strategies utilising the full mix of marketing channels (incl. Web, Social, Email, PR, Print and Collateral)
  • Develop and deliver multi-channel campaigns whilst improving messaging across the marketing collateral to help increase brand awareness for individual venues/offerings
  • Take charge of brand building and positioning across the numerous hospitality and events offerings.
  • Work cross functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders (agencies etc)
  • Report and analyse marketing and campaign performance, including providing data driven insights and recommendations of improvements 
  • Complete budget management
  • Conduct regular market research and analysis to ensure staying ahead of competitors and current trends

Experience Required:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar Marketing role, ideally within hospitality/events.
  • Hands on marketer, someone who likes to see a campaign through the entire process
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing/email marketing
  • Creative and strategically minded
  • Strong communicator, team player and relationship builder
