About the Role:

My client, a government-backed sustainable energy company focused on creating more energy-efficient homes, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager. Based in Merseyside, this position will involve managing customer accounts, cross-selling additional products, and leading a dedicated sales team to achieve company KPIs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the foot canvassing team, ensuring effective planning and execution of territory routes
  • Cross-sell additional products and services to the existing customer base, maximising business opportunities
  • Oversee customer accounts, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling
  • Work closely with the sales team to meet and exceed the company’s KPIs
  • Set appointments with key clients, close deals, and drive revenue growth
  • Collate and analyse sales data to monitor team performance and identify growth opportunities
  • Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to consistently exceed targets

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a sales management role, ideally within the energy, sustainability, or related sectors
  • Strong cross-selling and account management skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Experience in managing, motivating, and training sales teams, with expertise in territory planning
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and business development abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the sales team to drive performance and meet KPIs
