Deputy Team Manager (UASC)  – LiverpoolLocation – L17 7BNOn going contract – 37 hours –£44  
  • We require an experienced Deputy Team Manager within our UASC (Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children) Service to effectively support the Team Manager and social work team. The candidate must have a proven track record as a Deputy Team Manager in Safeguarding/Permanence and be confident in the application of all legal proceedings and legal frameworks, with a robust understanding of young people’s whole journey through the care system. Must be experienced in promoting stable placements and implement positive long-term change and improvements, supporting with clear pathway planning Will support a high-performance culture within the team, with consistent good practice across the team. Will actively support the team manager in decision making, chairing meetings, and actively working in partnership with partners/multi-agencies, particularly Housing, Health, and Education, to be able to advocate for our young people to secure the access to the services that they need. Will support all recruitment, induction, training, and effective supervision of all team members, championing professional career development. Will be a Practice Educator. Must be available to start within the next 3 weeks £44ph limited status First initial 3-4 weeks, full time on site for induction and training, then at least 3 varied days per week on site, so ideally will live locally Stable permanent management team Free parking on site.
