Your new schoolHays Education are currently supporting a small school based in South Liverpool who are seeking a Teaching Assistant to be based in their nursery and provide 1:1 and general support. This is a lovely community based school who require a candidate with EYFS experience and who can hit the ground running. Your new roleThis job will see you working within the school's nursery providing general support to the teacher as well as supporting a child with SEN. This role is crucial in helping EYFS pupils develop their learning. You may be required to work with separate groups or work on a 1:1 basis with children that may be struggling. You should be confident in working with various ability pupils and immersing yourself in daily activities. EYFS experience is a requirement for this job role. This role will include supporting the breakfast club for part of the week and so you will need to be able to start at 7:45am for 3 days of the week.This is a part time role and you will finish at 1:15pm every day.What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience working in a nursery/ pre-school setting
  • Experience working 1:1 and with SEN
  • Two working references from your most recent jobs that apply relevance to the position
  • Previous experience with nursery children is desirable
  • A DBS on the update service is desirable, however you can apply for one through Hays.
