Children’s Home Manager

TRC is working with an outstanding group who are looking to open up their first children’s home in Liverpool! The home is a 2-bed EBD/LD service looking after girls and boys under the age of 16. The home has recently been refurbished and is owned by the business and approved by Ofsted.

Duties:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential childcare facility, ensuring high-quality care for children and young persons.

Assessment and Planning: Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement strategies to address the specific needs of

each child.

Supervise and train staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to residents, staff training, and facility operations.

Collaboration: Work closely with external agencies, families, social workers, local authorities and professionals to enhance the overall

care and well-being of the children.

Compliance: Ensure the home operates in accordance with Ofsted regulations and standards.

Criteria:

Must have experience within a Deputy or Registered Manager position previously within an Ofsted regulated service.

Relevant social care qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare) and registration with Ofsted.

Full UK driving license and car.
